Last Day of Training

Today marked the last training day before my competition. My lifts moved relatively smoothly and I felt confident in all of them. Among all the training I have done this week I have also been battling to lose the weight I need to lose to compete. I am currently down 10lbs. in two and a half days and now I have to maintain it by watching what I am eating day to day until weigh ins on Saturday morning. I am very nervous for this competition to be very honest but in the same sense I am very excited to experience this.

Preparation For Collegiate Cup

      For the last month, month and a half I have been prepping for the Collegiate Cup which is a powerlifting meet that I am competing in for SRU. There has been lots of highs and lows during this process, but I am enjoying every step of the way so far. At this point in time I have four days until I am to compete and I am feeling confident in where I stand right now and am rather excited for this Saturday. Although it is highly unlikely for me to place, I am okay with that I am truly doing this for the experience. Even after this competition I am still going to train to further improve myself for the next time I compete.
